About Me
Hybrid Designer
As a creative I have always been curious. My curiosity has naturally led me down many different paths in my life (20 year art/design teacher, graphic designer, web designer and PC tech/LAN Admin — to name a few…). Throughout that time I have always striven to remain marketable — trying to add new tools to my tool box each and every year. Through these varied experiences I have been able to learn and develop into a more holistic artist and designer. I feel equally as comfortable with pencil and paper as I do with Illustrator or 3ds Max. If the job requires building and constructing, not a problem, I’m an avid woodworker and welder — check out my other website: Richards Artisans. Aside from all that, the wisdom that can only be acquired through age has given me a broader and deeper understanding of the world around me. I believe that the marriage of the traditional and technical skills with the wisdom I have gained through life experiences uniquely positions me to move between the abstract world of client dreams into the concrete world of custom development.
